“A DISCERNING HEART”

1 Kings 3:9

^“So give your servant a discerning heart to govern your people and to distinguish between right and wrong. For who is able to govern this great people of yours?”

-King Solomon was given a choice to make. God told him to ask whatever he wants and it will be given to him. What he asked for has made him the wisest King who ever live on earth. He didn’t ask for wealth, long life, the death of his enemies but a “discerning heart / wisdom” to administer justice. So God was pleased with him that even what he didn’t ask was provided as well.

-Supposed you are given the chance by God to choose or ask anything you want, what would it be? Life is full of choices! The life you choose today will determine your destiny. - A LIFE THAT IS LIVE FOR GOD, PLEASES GOD!

-This is the kind of WISDOM that we should have; first of all pure, peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere. -James 3:17.

“Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show it by his good life, by deeds done in the humility that comes from wisdom.”  -James 3:13.
