“Remember not the former things,
nor consider the things of old.
Behold, I am doing a new thing;
now it springs forth, do you not perceive it?
I will make a way in the wilderness
and rivers in the desert.”
As the year has fully come to an end, we found so many reasons to thank about. Reasons to remember and reasons to let go. Lessons that were hard and difficult but made us strong. Even lessons that are learned only through experiences. We might have learned the hard way, but it doesn’t matter as long as it made us grow. We have come this far because of the unconditional love and mercy of God.
Today, as we move on to a new chapter of our lives, may we find the strength, wisdom, a renewed commitment, the courage and the need to continue to abide by the guidance and power of the Holy Spirit. We have to look beyond the former and let them be a challenge to keep us moving forward. Still, life has so many things to offer. But we cannot go the distance if we sojourn in our quest for victory. Moreover, if we depend on our strength alone. We need the help of God!
Now that God is doing a new thing, are we willing to accept it? We ought to because God knows what is best for His people. Allow Him to finish the path He has started. Let the wilderness (sufferings, testing etc…) we are passing thru become a passage of His enormous blessings. Not only that, but let the river of mercy flow into your desert life that you may flourish again as a tree on the river banks. BEHOLD OF HIS GREAT PROMISES!!!
